Wiltshire Police are appealing for witnesses following a fatal road traffic collision on the A4 Bath Road in Corsham yesterday afternoon (24 July), which tragically claimed the life of a 19-year-old woman.

The incident occurred at around 1.30pm, when a Hyundai i10 collided with a Scania tipper HGV at the junction with the B3109.

A female passenger in the car was sadly pronounced dead at the scene. Her next of kin have been informed, and Wiltshire Police have extended their condolences to her family and friends.

The female driver and a male passenger in the car sustained serious injuries and are currently receiving treatment in hospital. The driver of the HGV was uninjured.

Police are now appealing to anyone who may have witnessed the collision, or who has dash cam footage, to get in touch.
