Police have released an appeal for witnesses following an incident involving an imitation firearm in Chippenham.
At about 9.20pm on 18th July, police received multiple calls regarding a man seen carrying what looked like a firearm on Wood Lane.
When officers arrived they found the weapon not to be real but a man in his 20s was arrested on suspicion of possessing an imitation firearm. He has been released on bail.
