A woman in her 70s has been taken to hospital following a collision involving a marked police car and a Mini Cooper on the A350 near Chippenham.
Emergency services were called to the northbound carriageway between the Malmesbury Roundabout and the M4 at around 12.05pm today, Wednesday 3rd June.

The crash involved a marked police vehicle and a black Mini Cooper.
The woman, who was the sole passenger in the Mini, suffered injuries which are not believed to be life-changing or life-threatening and was taken to hospital for treatment.
The driver of the Mini, a man in his 70s, was assessed by paramedics at the scene and discharged.
A police officer, who was the only occupant of the police car, was also assessed by paramedics and discharged at the scene.
Police confirmed the officer was responding to an incident at the time of the collision.
No arrests have been made.
The northbound carriageway was temporarily closed while investigation work took place but has since reopened.
Due to the circumstances of the collision, the incident has been referred to the Independent Office for Police Conduct.
