Calne Cricket Club celebrated a landmark day on Saturday 13th June as all four of its senior teams recorded victories for the first time since the club expanded to field four senior sides.
The clean sweep continued an encouraging season for the club, with several teams firmly in promotion contention.
The First XI travelled to Wanborough and posted a competitive total of 201. Pav Lochab top-scored with 49, while captain Sean Adams contributed an unbeaten 38.
Wanborough struggled to keep pace with the required run rate and were eventually bowled out for 129 in 38 overs, securing another impressive win for Calne's youthful First XI.
The Second XI strengthened their grip on top spot in Division Seven with a dominant victory over Wanborough's second team.
After recovering from a slow start, Calne reached 227 thanks in part to a half-century from Tom Powell. Powell shared a century partnership with James Westcott, while twins John and Jim Sutton added a valuable 50-run stand.
Wanborough were then dismissed for just 76 as Ed Barwell and James Liles starred with the ball.
At The Brook, the Third XI welcomed Swindon Fifth XI, who included former England and Gloucestershire bowler Jon Lewis in their ranks.
Having been asked to field first, Calne produced a disciplined bowling and fielding performance, including three excellent catches, to restrict the visitors and leave themselves a target of 150.
Angelo Taliadouros and Millie Powell laid the foundations for the chase before captain Ashley Monaghan struck a quickfire 31 to guide his side to a comfortable seven-wicket victory.
The Fourth XI also enjoyed a successful afternoon after travelling to Biddestone to face Bradford on Avon Third XI.
Calne quickly took control after being asked to field, dismissing the hosts for just 77. Zoe Williams led the attack with an impressive bowling display before Jason Bowden's unbeaten 31 helped steer Calne to victory inside 19 overs.
The historic quartet of wins highlights the strength throughout the club, with several teams continuing to push for promotion as the season progresses.
Calne Cricket Club is welcoming new players and volunteers and can be contacted through its social media channels for further information.
