Calne Junior Parkrun marked its 200th event on Sunday, 8th June.
A total of 59 children took part in Sunday's milestone run at the Recreation Ground, with eight first timers joining in and 14 participants achieving personal bests.
The event also provided an opportunity to recognise the people behind the scenes, including Richard, who celebrated his 300th parkrun volunteering session - many of them spent helping run the Calne junior event.
Mayor Tim Havenith attended the celebrations, presenting the parkrun team with a Mayor's Certificate of Recognition celebrating both the milestone event and the volunteers who make it possible each week.
He also handed out finish tokens to participants and brought along Haribo for children taking part.
Speaking during the celebrations, the mayor praised both the volunteers and young runners, saying the weekly event helps bring families together and shows "the very best of our community".
Junior parkrun takes place every Sunday morning at the Recreation Ground and is open to children aged between four and 14.
Since launching, 773 children have taken part in Calne, completing a total of 5,857 finishes.
The weekly event has also been supported by 251 different volunteers over the years, including around 30 young people completing Duke of Edinburgh volunteering.
Numbers have continued to grow, with recent weeks regularly attracting between 40 and 50 children.
