Meet Eugene Gooch, Lib Dem candidate for Calne Town Council, Calne North.
Eugene moved to Calne nearly two years ago and has quickly become an integral part of the community. Drawn to the town's friendly and community-focused spirit, she is passionate about helping others and bringing people together.
With a wealth of experience from various roles, including Chair of PTAs and support groups, Ambassador for Women's Aid, and campaigner against primary school closures, Eugene has a deep understanding of the needs and concerns of local residents.
Now working as a Parent Support Advisor at a Calne primary school, Eugene is keen to bring that same energy and compassion to the Town Council. Described by many as the “neighbourhood Nan who’s got your back,” she’s committed to making sure every voice in the community is heard.
