POLICE investigating a case of criminal damage at Castlefields Park in Calne have released an appeal to gain further lines of enquiry.
The garden of reflection was created at Castlefields Park to provide a safe space for family and friends to remember the young men who died in the Derry Hill crash in August 2020.
Sadly on the anniversary of the tragedy, it was discovered that vandals had caused significant damage to the benches. Investigating officers say the damage happened between 14/08/2024 08:00hrs and 15/08/2024 11:00hrs.
In the course of their investigations police have questioned several local children, nearby CCTV has been checked and door to door enquiries have been carried out.
Police are now appealing to members of the public in a hope to gain further lines of enquiry. If you have any information which may assist with enquiries contact PCSO Mark Cook on
