POLICE have arrested three people following a drugs warrant carried out in Calne on Wednesday, 25/9.

The warrant was carried out at 10.30am at a home in Ladydown, local neighbourhood officers and specialist units, supported by the fire service, executed the warrant.

A quantity of class A drugs was found and three people – two men aged in their 30's and 20's and a woman in her 20's were arrested on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of drugs.

Neighbourhood Sergeant Mike Tripp said: “The drug industry destroys families and causes a significant amount of harm in communities through the associated crime and antisocial behaviour.

“It is vital that we all work together to tackle this problem.

“We encourage the community to unite in supporting the local police to tackle the issue of drugs and criminal activity in the area.

“If you have any information, or you witnessed something which you feel may have been suspicious, please report it to us to enable us to build a full picture of the situation.”
