THE Met Office has issued a yellow weather warning for Friday 20th and Saturday 21st September for the South West.
The forecaster said: “While some places will remain dry, thunderstorms and heavy showers could cause disruption." The disruptions are expected to take place between 12pm and 8pm on Friday, and then for most of the day Saturday, between 1am and 11:59pm.
The long range forecast - staying unsettled on Sunday with scattered, thundery showers present for much of the day. Turning a little drier overnight but further heavy showers are possible during the first half of Monday. Some could contain a risk of thunder in places. A dry and partly cloudy start into Tuesday. Soon, light rain will develop, this turning heavy later on as it advances eastwards.
