Poppy and Duncan's programme will include the Brahms F minor Sonata, the Bax Sonata and the Carnival of Venice by Giampieri.
Following her graduation in music at Kings College, London, Poppy was awarded a Masters at the Royal Academy of Music and is much in demand both as a soloist and a chamber musician, performing extensively throughout the UK and internationally. She recently recorded a concerto, written for her by Matthew Taylor, with the BBC National Orchestra of Wales. Duncan Honeybourne enjoys a diverse career as a pianist and in music education. Following recitals in London, Paris and at international festivals in Europe he was commended for his “gripping” and “glittering” performances by both the national and musical press. He has also broadcast frequently on BBC Radio 3 and radio networks worldwide. His many recordings reflect his long association with 20th and 21st century British piano music.
