THE mother of a man who has gone missing after a night out at a pub in Chippenham, is urging residents to check their doorbell cameras, dashcams and CCTV for any sightings of her son.
Sebastian Sailes was last seen leaving The Black Horse pub in Chippenham and heading to Lovers Walk to make his journey home to Notton near Lacock at about 11.30pm on Thursday 27th February.
He is described as white, around 5ft 10ins tall, slim build, with blonde/brown hair with a long fringe.
He was last seen wearing a grey jumper, blue jeans, a beige fur lined jacket and white Adidas trainers with a Velcro strap across the top.
Wiltshire Search and Rescue teams have been working with Severn Area Rescue Association, Avon & Somerset Search and Rescue and Hampshire Search and Rescue Dogs, alongside specialist search officers from Wiltshire Police, and technical advice from the Environment Agency.
As the search enters its third day, Sebastian's mother, Lindsay, has given details of two possible routes her son may have taken, and she is urging anyone who lives on those routes or may have been in those areas at the time, to check any footage they may have unwittingly captured.
The routes are:
1) Along Avon Valley Walk to Avenue La Flèche cross this road and drop down at bridge over River Avon to Rowden dog walking fields, across walking track then up through Rowden Lane housing estate down Cornhill/Pudding Lane to meet Melksham Rd B4643 along to Lackham roundabout passing new housing development Rowden Park.
“2) Staying on main roads: Leave town roundabout on Bath Road, up Rowden Hill past Rowden Surgery, Chippenham hospital, Rowden Arms, left at mini roundabout into Melksham Road B4643. Past new housing development Rowden Park to Lackham Roundabout.”
On Saturday Wiltshire Police Chief Inspector Ben Huggins said: “Sebastian’s disappearance is out of character and we and his family are extremely concerned for his welfare.
“We are currently conducting multiple lines of enquiries to locate him.
“We are working with Wiltshire Search and Rescue and we currently have extensive specialist resources in place to find him, so we would ask the public not to speculate and to allow us to conduct our enquiries.
