MOTORISTS are being warned of an urgent road closure for part of the A3102 on the 10th December for an estimated three days.
Wiltshire Council have announced the closure to allow for urgent surfacing, lining works and other associated works to take place.
The closure will be in place on the A3102 Back Lane Sandy Lane North East to the entrance to Tossells farm - from outside the property known as 2 Whetham Cottages (top end of Silver Street) for approximately 1km in a North Easterly direction.
Alternative route: via A3102 (unaffected length), A342, A4, A3102 (unaffected length) and vice versa.
The closure and diversion route will be clearly indicated by traffic signs.
Access will be maintained for residents and businesses where possible, although delays are likely due to the nature of the works.
This closure may impact on travel times to and from Kingsbury Green Academy.
