THE former CM3 store in Phelps Parade,  looks set to close again, just three months after an announcement that the shop had been saved by BUYology.

CM3 went into liquidation in September 2023, but shortly after the closure, the chain of five CM3 shops was bought out by reopened under the banner BUYology.

At the time, a spokesperson said: "We will be glad to see all old and new faces - yes, it's the 'same old stock' but new lines will be added weekly. Please use us or we will be gone for good!"

It was understood that the company had a six month contract but on Friday, signs appeared on the store announcing that they were closing down again.

The news is a blow for many who were pleased when the shop was brought back to life in September.

One resident, Claire Willoughby commented: "BUYology are closing at the end of the month, yet another hairdressers is going where Tangles was in William Street. So this town has in the region of 21 hairdressers/barbers, several cafes, take-aways, 1 NHS dentist, 3 supermarkets, 2 convenience stores and 4 charity shops - basically, you will end up with a haircut and overweight in this town!"

Calne News has approached BUYology for comment .
