A new parking machine installed at the Church Street car park in Calne will make it easier to pay for your stay.

The new machine will enable motorists to pay for their parking in a multitude of ways; cash, contactless with card or mobile, the MiPermit app or by text, so gone are the days of having to worry about carrying change for a parking ticket.

The car park offers two-hours free parking funded by Calne Town Council, it is worth noting that the free parking option is not available on the app but you can continue to access it with a paper ticket.

Wiltshire Council say the new machines are compliant with the Equality Act 2010 and ramps will be installed where appropriate, with the machines positioned to allow easier access for all users.
