WORKS initially instigated by the late Cllr Tony Trotman have finally been completed at Quarr Barton.
In 2023, Cllr Trotman raised concerns with Highways on the state of the footpath which leads from Marden Court to the town centre.

Calne Town Council said: "Due to the location and work required, a number of different options and funding streams were considered by Highways Officers
"The Town Council were pleased to commit £6,000 to the £13,000 cost last year from the local part of the Community Infrastructure Levy. The remaining funds came from the Area Board Local Highways and Footway Improvement Group."
