As resurfacing work continues today and throughout this week on London Road, those requiring access have been sent an urgent message from the contractors.
Anyone needing access to the area, such as residents and businesses, will face delays today, 14th September, as the new tarmac begins to be poured. When the tarmac is laid, no access will be allowed for 90 minutes whilst it sets. The process will start outside Holy Trinity School today and move towards the town, continuing tomorrow. On Monday 18th September, they will begin to lay the tarmac between Stockley Lane and Holy Trinity. It is important to plan ahead and leave yourself plenty of time for any trips or ensure exit before this takes place.
