In a fascinating conversation, we delve into the world of cognitive behavioural hypnotherapy (CBH) with Suzie who has recently embarked on this journey. With a background in project management, Suzie brings a unique perspective to her work, driven by a passion to empower individuals to take control of their mental well-being.

What drew you to cognitive behavioural hypnotherapy, and how has your background in project management influenced your approach?

"I've always been driven by the desire to help others, and as a project manager, I realised that the most fulfilling projects were those that led to meaningful change in people's lives. CBH resonated with me because of its ability to bring about rapid and lasting relief from everyday challenges such as stress, anxiety, and pain management. My project management experience has taught me the importance of efficiency, solution-oriented approaches, and empowering individuals with the tools they need to succeed."

Can you share some insights into how CBH works and its benefits?

"CBH is a therapy that provides individuals with a toolkit for managing their mental state, enabling them to maintain a balanced and healthy mindset long after the sessions have ended. It's a solution-focused approach that doesn't require years of ongoing therapy. Instead, it empowers clients to take charge of their mental and emotional health, providing quick relief and teaching techniques that support mental wellness.

"One area where CBH has shown remarkable promise is in supporting women through the challenges of peri-menopause and menopause. These life transitions can often be isolating and overwhelming, with symptoms such as anxiety, mood swings, and sleep disturbances. CBH offers a safe, non-pharmacological approach to managing these symptoms, empowering women to regain control over their mental and emotional well-being."

What do you find most rewarding about working with clients in CBH?

"Witnessing the transformation in my clients is truly rewarding. Over time, I see individuals become more self-sufficient, confident, and independent. The techniques learned through our sessions give clients the tools they need to handle life's challenges on their own, without being dependent on ongoing therapy. It's incredible to see someone move from a place of stress and overwhelm to a place of confidence and empowerment."

How does CBH differ from traditional therapies, and what can clients expect from the experience?

"CBH offers a more efficient and solution-oriented approach compared to traditional therapies. Clients can expect to achieve lasting results without requiring years of ongoing sessions. The therapeutic journey in CBH focuses on empowering individuals to take charge of their mental and emotional health, rather than simply addressing the problem. It's a collaborative approach that enables clients to regain their independence, self-sufficiency, and happiness."

What advice would you offer to those struggling with stress, anxiety, or feeling overwhelmed?

"I would encourage them to consider CBH as a potential solution. It's a powerful therapy that can provide quick relief and empower individuals to take control of their mental well-being. I invite anyone interested in learning more to reach out and explore how CBH can help them achieve the life they deserve."
