ROYAL MAIL has shared the last posting dates for Christmas in 2024.
On its website, Royal Mail said: "It’s always advisable to post as early as possible to ensure that your Christmas letters and parcels reach their destination in good time."
The latest posting dates depend on which postage option you pay for, with Special Delivery Guaranteed items able to be sent right up until 23rd December. The Royal Mail states that latest posting dates are subject to change, and advises that customers visit the 'international incident bulletin' for the most up to date information on its postal services around the world.
The last Christmas post date for second class and second class signed for items is Wednesday, 18th December. The last day for Christmas post items which are sent first class, first class signed for or Royal Mail Tracked 48 is Friday, 20th December.
Anyone sending items via Royal Mail Tracked 24 has until Sunday, 21st December to post their items. And the final deadline for postage is Monday, 23rd December if items are being sent via Special Delivery Guaranteed.
Special Christmas stamps are available which feature some of the UK's stunning cathedrals. Stamp fans can also pick up a pack of 2024 Christmas postcards which feature enlarged versions of the Christmas 2024 Special Stamps and an enlargement of the Miniature Sheet.
