A Chippenham man has been jailed for eight years after he was found guilty of indecent assault on a child.
A woman has been sentenced to nine months, suspended for two years, for attempting to smuggle drugs into Erlestoke prison.
Police officers were out in Calne, Chippenham and Corsham yesterday, carrying out immigration and welfare checks at local businesses.
