With Valentine's Day just under two weeks away, you may be planning to send your Valentine a card, flowers or a gift. This year why not spread the love by shopping for your loved one locally. We took a look at what is on offer in Calne.
One of the most traditional ways to tell someone you love them on Valentine's Day is with flowers.
Maria's Florist at 27 High Street have a range of bouquets to choose from Maria said: "You are guaranteed success this Valentine's with a romantic bouquet from Maria's Florist. It's not too late to order for delivery on February 14th. All our roses are long stem best quality.
"We offer red roses (naturally) but this year why not dare to be different and send pink roses? Equally as gorgeous, pink roses are different from the norm and can make you stand out from the crowd."
Alternatively, Simply Flowers at 7 Church Street is an independent florist shop run by Tracy. Deliveries are available including Calne, Compton Bassett, Cherhill, Quemerford, Chippenham, Devizes, Avebury, Heddington, Hilmarton, and anywhere with-in a 10 mile radius.
Bursting In To Bloom owner Nicki will be doing a limited amount of deliveries and collection from Lower Compton is also possible. Nicki told us: "As I work from home I try to keep costs as low as I can."

The Bear and Pear Drop in the High Street have a great range of gifts for those with a sweet tooth. Shop owner Karen Grant told us: "We are offering a lovely range of Valentines gifts, ranging from gift boxes, filled gin glasses, hampers, flower buckets or gift bags.
"These can be filled with sweets of your loved ones favourites or you can pick from our lovely pre-created range in store.
"We are open 7 days a week, telephone or email orders are welcome. We also offer free home delivery within 15m radius of Calne. Postal service available out of this range."
They say the way to a man's heart is through his stomach, it is probably fair to say a brownie is probably the way to most of our hearts. The Best Ever Brownie Company are currently making a limited edition Valentine's Brownie Box though stocks are limited so be quick. If you aren't lucky enough to snag yourself the Valentine's box they they have all their equally delicious brownies available to send out too. They will also be at the Tescos Calne Springs showroom on Saturday 12th Feb with a pop up from 10am - 4pm, so you can pop along to get any last minute gifts or weekend brownies there too!
Expressions at 6 Phelp's Parade are stocking some truly beautiful Valentine's cards and gifts again this year. We particularly loved the Tatty Teddy range of cuddlies and mugs - but don't take our word for it, pop in for a browse.

The Bazaar in the High Street is another fantastic shop packed with gifts for all ages and types.
Centre News in the High Street are also stocking a lovely selection of cards for the day.

Fay's Bistro on Beach Terrace are taking bookings for Friday 11th February 6pm to 8pm for their special Valentine's Menu - pre ordering required.
