Police officers monitoring traffic near Cherhill during the Calne Bike Meet on Saturday 26 July were surprised to find that all of the speeding drivers caught in a targeted operation were motorists – not bikers.
The Met Office has issued a yellow weather warning for thunderstorms covering Calne and the wider Wiltshire area on Thursday 31st July.
An outline planning application has been submitted by developers to build up to 170 homes and a new medical centre in Calne.
