Calne Men’s Shed enjoyed a special visit from the ‘soon to be formed’ Men’s Shed in Amesbury and their Mayor yesterday afternoon.
An application put forward by Robert Hitchins to build 100 new homes on land east of Spitfire Road in Calne, has been refused by Wiltshire Council.
WITH just over 12 weeks to go to the Calne Summer Carnival, Calne Town Council are calling on all clubs, schools, teams, pubs, local businesses, street or group of friends to join in and make this a carnival the town can be proud of.
