A 38-year-old man from Calne has been fined after pleading guilty to animal cruelty offences following the discovery of a severely malnourished dog at his residence.
A local initiative called "Kindness in Calne," born from a personal mental health journey, is spreading cheer and promoting well-being throughout the community by leaving handmade gifts for people to find.
