SMOKE CITY in Calne High Street has been issued with a closure order today following a recent seizure of illegal vapes and tobacco by Wiltshire Council's Trading Standards and Calne Neighbourhood Police Officers.
A formal warning was issued to a local boy on 9th January after he was spotted riding an e-scooter on Church Street, prompting Calne Police to reiterate their stance on the use of these vehicles.
Residents of Calne Town and the Calne Without Parish are being urged to have their say in an upcoming referendum concerning the Calne Community Neighbourhood Plan 2.
