Calne Men’s Shed welcomed the High Sheriff of Wiltshire, Martin Nye, and his wife, Deputy Lieutenant, Victoria Nye, yesterday for a tour of the group’s workshop on Anchor Road - and an opportunity to learn more about the projects, camaraderie and community support that have made the Shed one of the town’s most valued organisations.
Calne Police are appealing for witnesses after a pedestrian was injured in a collision on New Road, Calne, last month.
