Empty chilled shelves, shuttered supermarket freezers and cafés closing early are just some of the ways the ongoing heatwave is affecting daily life in Calne.
The Cherhill White Horse was given a fresh new look on Saturday as more than 130 volunteers gathered to help re-chalk the historic landmark.
There will be an overnight closure on the A4 through Calne on Monday 1st June as work continues on the town’s ongoing traffic signal refurbishment scheme.
